Industrial machinery maintenance enters a new era thanks to virtual and augmented reality. VAX Meifus offers an innovative device that eliminates the need to consult obsolete manuals and simplifies maintenance tasks.
The system is based on interactive software that uses virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (XR). It allows direct interaction with the machines, facilitating access to drawings, intervention histories and real-time training on use and assembly. Isidro Fernández, founder of the company, highlights the ease of use and efficiency of the system.
Key Technology and Functionalities:
- The device integrates vision cameras, gesture control and voice recognition, all connected through smartphones.
- The interface is intuitive and allows technicians to access relevant information just by looking at the machine.
- The platform is programmable by technical staff without the need for specialized knowledge.
- The biggest technology behind it is the smartphone itself.
- The device will be released in 2020 with an estimated price of 150 to 250 euros.
Benefits and Development:
- VAX Meifus optimizes maintenance processes, reducing time and costs.
- The development of the product was driven by the “BFA” initiative, and the experience has been very positive, especially in the field of training.
- Fernández is grateful for the support of his tutor at the Ti Automotive accelerator.
