MAR-SPAN

MAR-SPAN is an innovative automated, sensorized and virtualized system designed to optimize the production process in mussel rafts. This system, easily accessible and with full monitoring, offers crop optimization through guided and motorized profiling that moves the ropes automatically for optimal mussel feeding.
The individual monitoring of 10 lines and complete sensorization, including the weighing of 400 ropes, allow you to control the evolution of growth and decide on the optimal moment of extraction. The possibility of controlling parameters and programming alerts from the outside, through a virtualized model, provides great flexibility to the system.
MAR-SPAN stands out for its autonomy thanks to the use of renewable energy (wave, solar and wind), while incorporating features such as a low-consumption system, energy security (technological replication), process safety (supervised case scheduling) and software/hardware security (direct VPN and replicated virtual machine), ensuring comprehensive and reliable optimization.
MAR-SPAN: The intelligent solution for the optimization of mussel farming, adapting to your needs and providing total control in any raft thanks to its autonomy with renewable energy.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

VLP4.0

The VLP4.0 project aims to develop a comprehensive digital solution that seeks to support the daily management of people working in the plant, whether they are operators, team leaders or managers. The solution will process and make integrated use of information based on four critical pillars for the management of the company: operations, resources, locations and communication.
The VLP4.0 platform aims to improve the daily management of companies through the integration of Lean Manufacturing principles with 4.0 enabling technologies and with people as a central element to add value. The solution will be composed of software and hardware and will be validated in two representative environments with real operating conditions (automotive and naval) and the identification and characterization of technical and functional improvements that allow adapting the development to the real needs of the sector.
The solution will be composed of software and hardware, being validated in two representative environments with real operating conditions (automotive and naval) and carrying out the identification and characterization of technical and functional improvements that allow the development to be adapted to the real needs of the sector.
Today, technology plays a fundamental role in most production plants. The key to success is to have a model that can be adapted to any sector and is applicable regardless of the company’s level of maturity.
The project is coordinated by AEI Galicia Digital (DIHGIGAL) and involves two technology companies (Inovalabs Digital, S.L and Mar Technologies 5.0 S.L.), two industrial companies (TI Group Automotive Systems, S.A. and Francisco Cardama, S.A.) and the Galician Naval Cluster Association (ACLUNAGA).
This project is funded by the Ministerio de Industria y Turismo, as well as by the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan within the framework of the #AEI2023 call.
